Micrometer for Cane & Reeds (Oboe & Bassoon)

I’m an amateur player and usually a very average reed maker but this has really helped me to make reeds that are more consistent. It’s a good design which fits into a neat box that turns into a nifty stand. A good investment and v good service from C&S

Easy to use for us with oh so clumsy fingers.

I had to redesign it slightly and rebuild it to get less flex in the tongue which was caused by the force of the micrometer plunger.

Easy to use and accurate. Has a nifty and well-made storage box, that doubles as a stand.
